Effective Date: 07 October 2025

Welcome to MiniMakers Academy (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By purchasing, enrolling, or using our content, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not access or use our Services.

1. About MiniMakers Academy

MiniMakers Academy provides online video-editing courses for children, designed to teach creativity and storytelling in a safe, parent-guided environment.
All payments, communication, and enrollment are managed by parents or guardians on behalf of their children.

2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

  • Our courses are designed for children aged 6–10, but all purchases and accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Parents are responsible for:

    • Supervising their child’s participation in the course

    • Managing the email and payment details used to register

    • Reviewing any linked third-party software or tools used during the course (e.g. CapCut)

  • We do not knowingly collect or store personal information directly from children under 13.

3. Course Access and Use

  • When you purchase a course, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access the course materials for personal, non-commercial use.

  • You may not copy, resell, share, or distribute course materials publicly or commercially.

  • Access may be revoked if we detect misuse, piracy, or violation of these Terms.

4. Payments and Refunds

  • Payments for South African users are processed securely via Paystack.

  • International payments are processed via PayPal or credit/debit card.

  • Due to the digital nature of the course, refunds are generally not offered once access is granted. However, if you experience technical issues or accidental duplicate payments, please contact hello@minimakersacademy.co within 7 days of purchase for assistance.

5. Use of Third-Party Software (CapCut)

  • The MiniMakers Academy course includes lessons that demonstrate how to use CapCut, a third-party video editing application.

  • We use CapCut only in its free, offline mode, without requiring students to sign up or create an account.

  • This approach ensures that no user content is uploaded or shared with CapCut or its parent company.

  • However, by choosing to download or use CapCut, you agree that:

    • You do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

    • You should review CapCut’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy directly before use.

    • MiniMakers Academy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for CapCut, ByteDance, or any third-party service.

You can review CapCut’s Terms here: https://www.capcut.com/clause/terms-of-service
